Had to upgrade to a bigger vehicle due to a growing family. 4 new tires and back brakes. Great gas mileage and is in excellent condition. 86,00 miles on the car i am extremely disappointed with the engine. not crazy about the mpg either but more so with the mystery of the missing oil. unless GMC is prepared to make this engine right and replace it, then, no, i will not recommend any GMC purchase. GMC should have the decency to replace an engine that is obviously of poor quality and has been since the day they produced it. a mechanic told me that GMC made a poor cast of the engine and this is why the engine is of poor quality, thus, unreasonable oil loss. with so many complaints registered regarding this same problem why won't GMC honor their works.
